Swim Team - Triggerfish

For children ages 8 - 13 and they must meet the requirements of Youth Level 5/6 to be successful. The program is designed to introduce your child to the concept of a swim team and using swimming as a form of exercise. Swimmers can participate in practices two or more times per week learning a proper warm-up and refinement of strokes through drills to understand a balanced workout/practice. All swimmers will review the basic components of competitive swimming strokes, starts, turns and training tactics.
May, 3 2016 Meet Recap

The JCC Triggerfish battled against four of their conference rivals. The triggerfish swam a record breaking meet with nine first place finishes. A lot of personal records were broken as well. The team competed in 8 and under, 9-10 , and 11-12 age groups, holding strong against their fierce competitors. As the night wore down, our JCC triggerfish finished off the night with the 100, and 200 medley relays compiled of Hannah G, Avery G, Nina G, and Munisa T. They finished with a fantastic time of 2:11.75. The 200 relay Compiled of Celia, Leah, Yanni, and Olivia, touched the wall in an outstanding time of 2:36.95. Both of those times are top 5 times in the conference. This was the final meet of the season for the Triggerfish, and we have seen every swimmer finish with a personal record. Next season holds a lot of potential for the swimmers as they continue to train, and fight for top finishes in the 2017 conference.
