New JCC members receive three complimentary sessions with a trainer to get you started on your fitness journey at the JCC.

Our on-staff nutritionist, Elaine Harvey, MS, CN certified will work with you to  define and solve your diet and nutrition issues. Eating too many carbs or  sweets? Elaine can answer your nutrition questions and work with you to  analyze your eating habits. Then you and Elaine will design a nutrition program  that is right for your metabolism and lifestyle.

Youth Strength Training

Learn how to safely and effectively exercise with a certified personal trainer. Youth Strength Training course teaches and enlightens youth ages 12 and 13 years old how to use the fitness center with confidence and safety through a three session course. The first two sessions will cover fitness equipment and how to safely and correctly use it as well as terminology and important concepts for health and exercise.  The last session with contain a practical exam and written exam based on what was learned and retained.
