Building Community

The JCC is as much the programs we offer as the buildings we reside in as the members we serve as the community we support.  To be sure, nothing we do is done without the power of partnership.  And everything we do is done with the belief that a strong Jewish community benefits – and benefits from –   the larger community around us.

As you’ll see throughout these pages - and at every turn throughout the JCC or in every conversation you have with a JCC team member – we are the beneficiaries of remarkable generosity, investment, partnership, and commitment.  The corporations and organizations that support our programs and events make possible the learning and growth that happens here.  The supporters and contributors to our endowment funds and campaigns recognize the legacy of success we build upon, and ensure that success extends for generations ahead.  And we cannot go forward without the contributions of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, and the thousands of local residents who contribute to both throughout the year.

We take seriously our responsibility to paying forward the kindness we receive, and to partner internally and externally to ensure we live up to the value of Tikkun O’lam (repair the world.)  The JCC is committed to serving as builder, convener, partner, and friend.

Our community – Jewish, geographical, membership, or otherwise – is diverse and strong.  Working together, we can be sure of that for years to come.
