Group Water Exercises
Exercising in the pool offers a totally aerobic, awesome cardio and strength work out experience. Join the fun in one of these popular water work out classes: Aqua Power, Cardio Currents, Senior Splash and Water Exercise.
Co-sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation, a certified instructor leads this specialized exercise class in our heated pool. The class objective is to offer an exercise class that helps to alleviate pain and discomfort.
Interested in a great summer job or challenging career as a professional lifeguard? Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you'll learn teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid and CPR/AED and other skills you need to work as a professional lifeguard. Successful completion results in a 2-year certification in Lifeguarding that includes first aid, professional-level CPR and AED in one certificate. Digital certificate available upon successful completion of course. Core Courses Prerequisites: Must be at least 15 years old and pass certain swimming requirements including a continuous 300 yard swim, retrieval of a 10lb object from 10ft of water, and treading water without the use of your hands for 2 min. *students who can not pass the prerequisite swimming skills will be refunded the course fee minus a $25.00 swim test fee.
