ENRICH YOUR MIND AT THE JCC
Here at the Jewish Community Center, we’re more than just a workout facility and we want to help you exercise more than just your body. We believe that overall wellness has to be holistic and include mental and spiritual fitness in addition to physical fitness! With that holistic wellness in mind we work to create and offer a diverse selection of programs geared to every age group. From cultural outings where members can explore local museums, theater and music to experiences where Jewish history and culture are the cornerstone, to programs and events that raise awareness on social and political issues, the vast array of educational opportunities for adults at the JCC is interesting, inclusive and informative. Share the learning and you’ll discover more about your community, your world and yourself. Click here to view our current Program Guide for all of our enrichment opportunities.
ATTEND JEWISH UNIVERSITY

BE A PART OF THE HOLOCAUST EDUCATION SERIES
“Never Forget” is the Jewish mantra for the Holocaust. Telling future generations about their 6 million fellow Jews who lost their lives is everyone’s responsibility. To bring that mantra to life and fulfill that responsibility, the JCC partners with the Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center (AND MJF?) to provide the community with compelling, provocative, moving and inspiring programs about the Holocaust. This programming includes a series of films, many followed by talkbacks/discussions. The annual community wide observance of Yom Ha Shoah, the Day of Remembrance, takes place every spring and culminates with an all day, multi-generational interactive tribute. A discussion with Holocaust survivors and their families is a highlight of the day. Students have the chance to interview survivors and get their stories first hand, making the experience truly a living expression of L’dor V’dor, from “generation to generation” and ensuring that we “Never Forget.”
