Yoga

Working with the special needs of each trimester this class will be more therapeutic rather than a workout. We will use safe ways to stretch, strengthen and soften using traditional Hatha yoga and healthy alignment to work toward reducing tension and discomfort. A variety of seated, standing, and reclined positions will be explored to prepare for labor, delivery and postpartum recovery. Because of the gentle nature of this class it is also appropriate for those: recovering from injury or illness; undergoing chemotherapy or radiation; or with a current diagnosis of condition(s) that limit physical activity and movement.
